Our editorial approach

Curiosity, with context.

We want an explanation to be both readable and checkable. Our standard is to tell you what a source establishes, what we infer, and what remains uncertain.

Facts need a source

Dictionary definitions are linked to dictionaries. Recovery-related background is attributed to the source that supports it. Song credits and release details require an official release listing or another reliable record. A matching title, search snippet, or unsourced post is not enough to establish an artist association.

Interpretations have boundaries

We label our readings as interpretations. We do not treat a narrator as the performer by default or infer private relationships, health conditions, or personal events from imagery. Where an artist has explained a work, that explanation needs a traceable source of its own.

Original examples, honest authorship

Illustrative sentences are written for the article and are not presented as lyrics, interviews, or testimony. Articles use the Pink Clouding publication byline. We use AI-assisted drafting and editing; we do not invent authors, qualifications, interviews, statistics, or personal experiences.

Health-related language

Our purpose is language and cultural interpretation. We are not a health service, and our publication does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or a clinical review. We avoid prescribing a universal recovery timeline. Readers seeking help with their own health should consult an appropriate professional.

Corrections and dates

Sources have a visible checked date. The updated date changes when an article is substantively revised, not merely rebuilt. Material factual corrections will be noted on the affected article. To request a correction, send the page address, disputed claim, and supporting evidence.

Copyright and commercial independence

We do not host full song lyrics, recordings, or unlicensed artist photography. External listening links, when used, direct readers to the provider. At launch this site has no advertising, sponsorships, or affiliate links. If commercial placements are introduced, they will be labeled and the relevant policies updated.

AI search and reuse

We publish accessible HTML, visible references, and consistent page metadata. These help readers and search systems understand the site, but do not certify an answer or guarantee a citation. Search access and model-training permissions are managed separately.
