Privacy

Your visit, explained.

Updated October 2, 2026. This notice describes the current version of pinkclouding.app, published as Pink Clouding.

Browsing

The site offers optional Google Analytics and an optional Adsterra banner, described below. It does not embed music players or use externally hosted fonts. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request information such as IP addresses, request paths, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. Its infrastructure may process information in multiple countries. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its practices.

Optional Google Analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand page views, traffic sources, and reading activity such as scrolling. The Google tag is not loaded until you choose “Allow analytics.” Declining does not prevent you from reading or contacting us.

When enabled, browser and device information, page titles and canonical page addresses, referring website origins, interactions, and cookie identifiers are sent to Google. Google also receives technical connection data, including your IP address, when its service is contacted. We strip query strings and fragments from the page address and send only the origin of the referring site. We do not send contact messages, email fields, or form receipt references to Analytics. Automatic form, site-search, outbound-click, download, and video measurement are disabled.

Advertising consent is denied and Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our tag. Your choice is saved in this browser for 180 days; analytics cookies are configured to expire after 180 days without renewal on each visit. You can change your choice using “Analytics choices” in the footer. Declining after allowing stops the tag, removes this site’s GA cookies, and reloads the page. Previously sent data is not erased by changing the browser choice.

Google processes analytics data under its own terms and may process it in other countries. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites. Browser blocking tools and your consent choice affect what appears in our reports.

Optional advertising

Article pages offer one labeled 300 × 250 Adsterra banner after the sources. The advertising provider is not contacted until you select “Allow ads” and the placement is near the viewport. This choice is separate from Google Analytics. Reading does not require either choice.

When enabled, Adsterra and its advertising partners receive technical connection information, including your IP address, browser and device details, and our website origin. Advertising technology may use cookies or similar identifiers for delivery, measurement and personalization, subject to browser restrictions and the provider’s practices. We do not send contact form content or email addresses to the advertising provider. See Adsterra’s privacy policy.

Your advertising choice is saved in this browser for 180 days. Use “Hide” on the placement or “Ad choices” in an article footer to stop loading ads and remove the current advertising frame. “Ad choices” also reopens the permission prompt. This does not delete information previously received by advertising partners or their cookies; those can be managed through your browser. Ads are isolated from the reading page, with no automatic refresh, autoplay permission or permission to navigate the main page. We have not enabled Popunder, Social Bar, Smartlink or adult ads. An unavailable or blocked ad does not prevent access to content.

Messages you choose to send

The contact form collects your message, a category, and an optional email address. If you enter an address, it can be used to respond to your request. Messages are stored privately in Cloudflare D1 and are not published. Do not include medical records, passwords, or other sensitive personal information.

For spam protection, the server uses a daily hash of your IP address to limit submissions. The form database does not store the original IP address. A hash is pseudonymous information, not a guarantee of anonymity. Rate-limit records expire and are removed by a daily cleanup.

Retention and access

Contact messages are deleted after 90 days by scheduled cleanup. They are used for correspondence, corrections, rights requests, and site administration. We do not sell contact submissions or use them for advertising. Access is restricted to the site operator through the hosting account; there is no public message directory.

Your requests

To ask about or request deletion of a message, use the contact form, choose “Privacy request,” and provide enough information to identify it. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information. Include the receipt reference if you have it.

External links and changes

Source links take you to independently operated sites with their own privacy practices. This notice will be updated if we change analytics or add advertising, subscriptions, or other data collection.
